What is alajuelense fc?

Alajuelense FC, also known as Liga Deportiva Alajuelense (LDA), is a professional Costa Rican football club based in the city of Alajuela. The club was founded on June 18, 1919, and has since established itself as one of Costa Rica's most successful and well-known football clubs.

Alajuelense FC has won 30 Costa Rican Primera Division titles, making it the most successful team in Costa Rican football history. The club has also won a record 5 CONCACAF Champions Cup titles, as well as a number of other domestic and international honours.

The team plays its home matches at the Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto, which has a capacity of approximately 17,000 spectators. The club's traditional colours are red and black, and its crest features a lion, which is the symbol of the province of Alajuela.
